Hello! I'm sorry to hear that Jigsaw Treasure Hunter is still not working for you despite trying some of the troubleshooting steps from September.
"I wish I could speak to pogo and have them give me this badge. They used to do that way back when, when the games wouldn't work with Internet Explorer and Java was the program that controlled most of those old great games."
Microsoft officially replaced Internet Explorer (IE) with Edge in 2015. During the early 2000s through about 2020, browsers commonly relied on Java applets and plugins, but because of serious security vulnerabilities, modern browsers have discontinued support for them. This was a significant and historic shift in web technology. This is also why the Pogo website changed and why most websites do not look as they once did.
When widespread issues or badge progress issues happen, Pogo does grant badges, Pogis, or other rewards to our community.
Currently Jigsaw Hunter is working as designed on the Pogo website and there are no current service announcements for this game yet. Being that Pogo is a browser-based gaming site, we need to figure out why your browser is blocking the game from fully loading.
Jigsaw Hunter December 7, 2025
From reading your previous post the suggestions were Disable Hardware Acceleration, Check Edge's Enhanced Security, Adjust Tracking Prevention, Clear Cache and Cookies, Disable Extensions, Update Graphics Drivers.
You mentioned"Trizzle will not open and there is no gameplay. I always have to more to FireFox to play this which I really don't like doing, also Jigsaw Treasure Hunter with this gameplay, the game opens and I can open move two puzzle pieces and then the game stops working."
Why the games fail in Edge but work in Firefox
A partial load then crash strongly points to GPU driver incompatibility (outdated). When you move puzzle pieces, Edge tries to use GPU acceleration for smooth animation, but dated drivers can't handle it - that's why it freezes after 2 pieces. Edge relies more heavily on modern DirectX APIs, so if your drivers are outdated, rendering stalls after initial interaction.
Firefox fallback → Firefox often falls back to software rendering or older APIs when drivers misbehave, which is why the same games still run there. Firefox may run games or graphics-heavy sites better on older systems because it can fall back to less demanding rendering paths. Edge, by contrast, expects modern/updated drivers.
For gamers using PC or Laptops this should be done monthly. Updates can happen at any time, and the Manufacturer will have the latest updates.
🎯 Adjust Monitor Refresh Rate Sometimes mismatched refresh rates cause rendering issues with browser-based games. How to Check/Adjust:
Right-click on your desktop → "Display settings"
Scroll down and click "Advanced display"
Look at "Refresh rate" → try changing it to 60 Hz (the most compatible setting)
Click "Keep changes"
Try Jigsaw Treasure Hunter again
Why this matters: Higher refresh rates (120Hz, 144Hz) can sometimes cause sync issues with HTML5 canvas rendering, especially on older systems or with certain graphics cards.
🎯Add Pogo to your desktop as a shortcut (also known as a Progressive Web App). Some players have reported this shortcut improves stability, performance and bypasses browser rendering issues.
Go to the Pogo homepage.
Look for the box in the upper right-hand corner of the page and click it.
A pop-up will appear — confirm the action.
After that, check your desktop home screen and you’ll see a new Pogo icon there.
Double click on the icon and log in Pogo through this shortcut.
Don't like it or it didn't help, right click on Pogo icon on your home screen to uninstall (easy)
If issues persist, you can also reach out to Windows Support (support.microsoft.com) or try contacting your graphics driver manufacturer (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel) and follow their troubleshooting steps. There may be something deeper within your device or browser environment that goes beyond what can be advised here.
That way you’ll know exactly where the problem is, and you can get back to enjoying your games without interruption.
