Pause menu and challenges
we seriously need to be able to access the menu while in a challenge please. there is no reason for that not to be a thing this late into Early access. sometimes we have to adjust settings to get the game to work right for lower end systems and adjust audio or other things while in a challenge is fine. a challenge shouldn't lock you out of menus entirely like that.
also i've noticed for own the lots it feels like you guys are using Ai to generate a half assed generic challenges without thinking of the environments of the lot. like the game just spits out what ever challenges it wants and most of the time not accounting for if its a solo player, or the actual layout of the area etc.. and even if its a full party it feels impossible for the time limits you guys put. that's why it fells AI generated to me. it doesn't make sense for most of the lots. and to add on to it if i have to leave to an entirely different area. that's not an own the lot challenge, that's an own the block challenge and not feasible or make sense again conflicting with other aspects of the game (the current own the lot of 7/8/26 flying brick or what ever it is, is perfect example). all of this really doesn't feel good to flow well the challenges need to make sense and shouldn't make you travel to a different area that eat up the time to get the challenges done which isn't much time already.
An own the lot should have a much longer timer or no timer at all in my opinion. sessions too unless its a speed line or specified time challenge, there's no need to put timers on these challenges. it kills the mood especially as a solo player which exists in this game and needs to be accounted for when make and designing these things. The least you can do is give us an option to turn timers off or remove them for certain challenges entirely if you choose to do them solo
also the san van open area is atrocious and super buggy sometimes and again had 0 flow or sense to the challenges vs the area design. you guys need to have people playing and making challenges not using what i have to assume is ai since its never cohesive for the larger areas and bigger challenges
just some food for thought any use of AI in a game like this is gonna ruin the flow and feel for players and doesn't really fit or make sense.
