at present you can subscribe via steam , just be sure the accounts are linked by playing a character via steam before purchasing a subscription

I seem to be having the exact same issue as I am getting the same message as the original poster.

There is an issue with the linked EA / Origin account that has the persona lovaaaaaaa (not cztavoc that your posting on now) that EA account uses the same email address as on your swtor account

You will need to contact EA via help.ea.com  then select contact us , open a ticket for a banned origin account

There is no time frame that i am aware of , in the meantime , steam subscription is the only option available to you

try using incognito mode with chrome or delete the web browser cache and cookies

used steam subscription and its not activating my EA and SWTOR accounts are linked but doesnt seam to work.

I'm having a similar issue with my SWTOR account, the username is literally just djdd. I'm unable to purchase anything through the normal store, whether it be subscription or otherwise. I reset my EA password as well as tried purchasing anything in incognito mode. Kinda stumped at them moment  :/

to subscribe for now, if you install the game via steam and login and play on a character to be sure the accounts are linked , you can then subscribe via steam whilst this gets sorted

Hi, my username is theqwertysig and I have the same problem, I reset my password on my ea account but still have the same subscription error

Aight so I downloaded it thru steam and bought a sub on the steam page but it didn't upgrade my account. It's saying on the swtor website that I didn't even buy one but I have the steam receipt

I'll wait for now, i just downloaded the game yesterday (by launcher) and i dont feel like to repeat the process on Steam. The tips are apreciated, thank you again!
