- Protection, health, defense. I'm just starting to see shoretrooper in my shard. Both 4* but they have over 40k protection and I think like 20k+ health? That is not bad at all.. Glad I got B2 though to get rid of that crit avoidance. Does ST use his heal/taunt first turn? Or when someone's health drops?

I'm using 2 sets of Health mods and a Tenacity set on my Shoretrooper.
Three slots have Protection as the primary stat (Arrow, Circle and Cross).
Crit damage is the primary stat on the Triangle.
Shoretrooper's special heals your team based off a % of ST's total health so its good to augment ST's health base as much as possible.
I load protection on him to just make him even more tanky.
I decided on the Tenacity set to make him more resistant to debuffs.
IMO, since ST is going to start off taunting, you need to make him as tanky as possible to withstand the onslaught he's going to take and shield your DPS attackers.- You need speed if you don't run him with Rex or StHan.
Crit avoidance is good vs Droids but useless against Wiggs.

I would guess to use his specials as soon as possible and to burn through debuffs faster for the benefit.
Though a slow ST would help as well if they have some debuffers... wait til they remove your initial taunt, then taunt again:)
There is a team I play against whos STHan can be slower than my SunFac (depending on crits etc), and tis a pain in my arse cause he usually taunts right after SunFac goes forcing 4,5,6 attacks before SF goes again."leef;757442" wrote:

Cuz otherwise it's likely he dies/gets stunned/ability blocked/buff immunitied/etc before he uses his special."Zooey;757424" wrote:

I like to run him with both STH and RG his auto taunt will save him and good luck getting to Lando through that mess- Health mods, top to bottom with speed secondaries and crit avoidance on the arrow. Run him at 170 so he kicks in after the initial flurry, Rex lead. At Gear XI and 5* he's just under 98k eHP. Didn't focus on offence / potency etc as his job is to take it and get immunity up.
- My question is? Is he still good for arena at only 4 stars or should I back burner till he is farmable?

I'm in a youngerish shard. Maybe April or early May. I have him at 4 stars and 4/6 on gear 9. He is working wonders for me. I finished 2nd at payout today and I'm still in 4th 6 hours later. I would build him up now.
