For fleet arena yes, but GAC, you just have to press the message button when you click your opponent's name.
For Fleet, swgoh.gg:usernamehere Look at your ship shard and pick someone in the top 5 during your payout and look them up on swgoh.gg. Message them either on Discord or in game via thier ally code. Boom goes the dynamite. - LordSugger5 years agoSeasoned Traveler

Yeah i know that.. i mean communicate ingame..
The button to send a message in fleet arena are shaded and disable.
i can't see any good reason for that.
Also thers are some players who are not on swgoh.gg
Therfore, finding their ally code is not possible - LordSugger5 years agoSeasoned TravelerI will ask my question differently, because i know how to dig around and find ally code via swgoh, etc...but:
Why the buttons to communicate in fleet arena are disable? - I can't message anyone in squad arena top rankings either. Nor can I in the gac mass leaderboards. I imagine it's to prevent potentially thousands of people from easy access to messaging. I think it's better to make people go through hoops in order to message a random person.
- Pulsipher5 years agoRising AceThe arena are a fair bit older than GAC. It is easy to guess that they were originally greyed out to suppress cooperation but it’s more likely that they didn’t want any messages flowing between people who hadn’t already agreed to be “friends”.
When GAC allowed communication everyone was surprised - and pleased. - crzydroid5 years agoHero (Retired)You can choose who can message you in your settings. If the button is grayed out, they may have it locked.
I can't message people on my squad arena either. You can always talk to your shardmates by trying to find their discord or forum account. If you can get to their swgoh.gg, sometimes discord info is posted there. - Guaranteed that most anyone at the top of your fleet shard has a discord, aside from adding them as a friend in game I dont think you can just message people in game idk for sure though. But if you see the same people at the top chances are going to be pretty high that there is a shard chat on discord. The sooner you can get to that the better off you will be in fleet arena.
