GAC system maybe ?
Why not match people with the same GP for an example if you are between 2 to 3 mill GP u get matched with that GP instead of unfair playing field with the current system

I think it could suit everyone.- GP matters
- Skill and strategy matters
- Falling down or skipping punished with small reward at the end of the year
- Every year fresh start and chance to do it better
May be it could be half year run to make it more dynamic

I can see few problems with this kind of approach, mainly being in low gp brackets, right after gp group is set, if one starts to whale it will be a year (or 6 month) of great advantage. Even for not so big spenders. or for someone quit the game for lets say, 2 months and decide to return, it would be absolute hellhole for them and this discourages any player to start again, which this game highly suffers for already.

Well, what i am trying to find solution is 0 banner people, which lower brackets i play suffer for. I didnt get matched with any played one match and throwed the rest of the battle type of guy yet, so i have no idea how severe that problem is and would be. It will count them with yearly based reward(idk, 10k crystals for example if it’s a year activity, but balance it in ligue-division range). Otherwise what we receive at the end in current system? 50/50 winrate, that’s all. It’s boring, and I will be glad to see competitive in GAC, where I could hit a row of victories, but I can’t because of GP/roster wall. With my current roster in 4m GP I’m facing only 7-8m GP in aurodium, if lucky 6m GP.
Would I like to be reseted in chromium with receiving, idk 6-7k crystals?
Yes, there is:- a reward for year activity
- better start because of rising GP for this year(chromium, not bronzium like it was year ago)
- chance to play with victories which is most important part
- stimulation of my activity for next year and reason to grow my GP for better start

My big issue with matching by GP is the affect it has on every other part of SWGOH. Either your system has an effect, in which case players go back to min-max building or it doesn't, in which case it's pointless. You're trying to sell the idea as both (in a positive sense), I believe there has to be a draw back. I believe it's the old drawback of the old system.
