GAC Ties
Okay can anyone make this make sense for me, and please explain the thought behind this decision. So I just scored a tie in my first round of GAC, 1721 - 1721. I have 12.5m GP, opponent has 13m GP....
Since you did not win outright it does not really matter how a tie break is dealt with, there are arguments to say either way is fair/unfair, it is just a necessity for the next match up to occur. But one good reason the higher GP is awarded the win, is to reward the higher investment and promote developing your roster.
Yeah I get what you mean it just seems like a very cheap way to resolve ties, a much more impartial way would be awarding the one who clears the opponent first or took fewer Overall battles to get to the end score.
In my case it was both and it was a tough and fun battle against a good opponent. Having the effort resolved in such a way just cheapens both my loss and his victory, since I both cleared him first and it took me fewer battles to do it.
Thankfully, you get daily crystals for ones placement in GAC so, thanks to the developers for continuing to kill any will for effort! ^^
Not really sure how you can call the person clearing first an "impartial" way with a straight face. That's massive time zone and work life discrimination.
If you're going to argue against the way it is now, the next most logical solution is a coin flip.
