I think where they dropped the ball on this is not letting the characters in here be converted to shards for the shard shop. Had they done that, this would’ve been amazing value for everyone in game, from new to first day players, in so many ways. They’d have so many willing to spend $100 on this pack and they’d be rolling in the dough.

However for veterans....idk, the gear is underwhelming as are the rest of the resources for $100. All that gear would go so quickly and if you’re going to spend I think $100 is better served for the crystal vault or a new marquee like Hux or Sith Trooper depending on these legends events coming up. Idk, I don’t think CG saw the full potential in this packs

Clearly you've done your analysis. This is actually a really good deal for veteran players too. A new marquee? That's the biggest pitfall in the game as far as a "deal". Maybe get 100 shards on average. Why comment when you don't know what you're talking about?
