I seem to have an unpopular opinion but I genuinely don't see what people have a problem with. I've only been playing about 4½ years so not as long as you but I still enjoy the game as much as ever. I also run a guild, about 530m, and haven't really experienced any problems keeping players enthused about the game.
I don't imagine you're alone in that position, and I respect your take on the state of the game. Maybe there's lots of folks in your spot that feel similarly. That's just not what I'm seeing in my guild and it's not what I'm feeling for myself.
