Sorry guys but this isn’t true. The fact is that the people who are posting about bad leviathan RNG are the ones who just got super unlucky in fleet arena today. Use the tie reaper as first reinforcement, it gives you a second coin flip for ult so your chance of losing is halved. Yes, the meta should change so it isn’t reliant on winning speed ties. But the rng is not broken. People have been saying this about simming nodes for years, and have been proven wrong every time.
If RNG wasn't broken, I would have been the first in at least 3 out of 6 battles. But when you're the second in 9 out of 10 battles all the time, no TIE Reaper will help. And I can't be happy for someone who's the first all the time - it won't give me any crystals. But the developers don't read this forum. Otherwise, Leviathan would have been fixed a long time ago.
We don't fix what's broken, we finish it off. - That's the developers' attitude towards their own game.
No, you are not guaranteed to ever go first. This is why people love coming to post about this. The mentality that on any given day you are owed by CG to go first in at least half of your fleet battles. In fact, it is the opposite. If you play fleet every day you are almost guaranteed to run into days where you never go first. And also days where you go first every time. This is proof that the RNG is not rigged.
And are you seriously arguing that my experience using the exact same ship as you is invalid? Lmao CG has not altered the RNG specifically for you to lose. They don’t care about you.
RNG isn't broken, the fact that it is not a clear 50/50 result shows that it is indeed working correctly. If it was broken you'd have been first in 3 out of 6 battles.
You are making the common mistake of assuming that out of two likely outcomes that either outcome is equally likely.
Maybe learn first before complaining....ok, I'll bite, what are you talking about? If it's supposed to be 50/50 how is it working correctly if it runs so far out of expectation? How should this work, if out of two likely outcomes one outcome is more likely?
Today? Not remotely. Once this hot, for the first week i charted my experience and it is posted somewhere on this board. My go first rate for the week was like 15%. 0/8 and 0/7 in 2 of the first 3 days. It is a bit better now, but my average go date isnt near 50% yet. The issue though is less about going first but setting a lineup you basically cannot beat without going first, that is an epic programming fail. You either are blatantly trying to force spending with this or you are terrible at game design, it is one of the two really as a fix isnt remotely difficult. When your current setup has people flat quitting the event when they dont go first, because they cannot win, you failed.
Disagree. It’s not just one day. It’s worse when you lose both coin flips four or five times in row after calling the reaper and watch the turn order flip flop. I hate fleet now it and it has been favorite part of the game since its introduction
Nah, I went 7/8 with flips against me today. Took me four battles to win one fight with reaper. I'm confident this is not 50/50 RNG.
Lol 7/8 today oh nooo. Get an actual sample size before you make a million posts about how confident you are that the RNG is not 50/50. Every person on here that has actually gone through the trouble to collect data over more than a week has agreed that it's 50/50. I've been playing fleet every day since the dagger change and haven't tracked data but I have no reason to think that it's not 50/50. I can still win 3 or so battles every day using the reaper strategy. Only once have I needed to refresh attempts because of bad rng. That's exactly what I would expect given 50/50 odds.
Again, I and MANY others in this thread disagree with you and think it's 50/50 and have been able to win battles at about that rate in fleet arena. Does it really seem more likely that for some reason your leviathan has different odds than everyone else, or just that you got unlucky today?
You are speaking with purely anecdotal evidence and then complaining that others are doing the same. Even though the others, and I, are providing you with real numbers. And it's not just today. And 7 of 8 is an actual sample size. Go flip a coin and tell me how many times you get 7/8 in one direction.
It's fine though, I'm going to start keeping track, maybe I'm wrong, I'll find out.
