Why do I go second in 4/5 battles every day? As I understand it, you have the RNG set up incorrectly in this fleet. And you don't want to do anything about it, because it's broken. Why fix what's broken? That's right, don't fix it.
GAC is the real problem with the Fleet disaster. One bad coin flip and you'll most likely lose the match. I got away with losing fleet battles due to the coin flip in 3 V 3 because many people don't participate. It will be way different in 5 V 5.
CG needs to get ready for even more screams of frustration.
Lol 7/8 today oh nooo. Get an actual sample size before you make a million posts about how confident you are that the RNG is not 50/50. Every person on here that has actually gone through the trouble to collect data over more than a week has agreed that it's 50/50. I've been playing fleet every day since the dagger change and haven't tracked data but I have no reason to think that it's not 50/50. I can still win 3 or so battles every day using the reaper strategy. Only once have I needed to refresh attempts because of bad rng. That's exactly what I would expect given 50/50 odds.
Again, I and MANY others in this thread disagree with you and think it's 50/50 and have been able to win battles at about that rate in fleet arena. Does it really seem more likely that for some reason your leviathan has different odds than everyone else, or just that you got unlucky today?
You know this is going to be in GAC and TW too? Are you ready to coinflip GAC, play for an hour, beat 15 3v3 battles and then lose on a ship coinflip? Yes, I do expect to be able to win 100% or at least the vast majority when all the factors are in my control vs an AI. I should be able to create a roster that can beat the computer's. That's sort of the point of the collection game, to make my collection better than yours, and if we're even then it should come to skill not a #$%@# coin filp.

ok, I'll bite, what are you talking about? If it's supposed to be 50/50 how is it working correctly if it runs so far out of expectation? How should this work, if out of two likely outcomes one outcome is more likely?
Nah, I went 7/8 with flips against me today. Took me four battles to win one fight with reaper. I'm confident this is not 50/50 RNG.
Finalistic_Kleois quite clearly stating, using available evidence, that it's not random. I agree with him, as I am seeing the same thing. It's not a 50/50, the AI goes first more often for sure.
Probably fighting several opponents, not just the same guy over and over.
