i don’t think mirror matches should be considered as part of design
Mirror matches in squad arena is a lot tolerable since you can manipulate turn order by going slower or faster or so on which makes it easier
Hard disagree - considering SA is largely obsolete, and mods are locked in other PVP game modes, I feel like this doesn't hold up too well.
Mirrors should definitely be considered. It's the spenders and the hard core players that get the new shiny right away - willfully ignoring the player experience for those people (and later, everyone else that gets the new shiny when it's not so shiny anymore) is not a smart move. My motivation for chasing Leviathan was to make my fleet arena experience better, easier, less prone to RNG failures - none of those things were promised so it's on me I guess.
CG clearly didn't want people putting SF in the starting lineup, or they wouldn't have coded MK6 to only come out 2nd if SF was 1st RI. But running SF to start is the only way to ease the pain of the coin-toss mirror matches. The problem is, once everyone brings Sith Assassin to max relics (and people will do it - not because they want to or because it's fun, but just to make mirrors less frustrating) we'll all be back to the coin toss nonsense. It's kind of perplexing that they didn't foresee this.
I'm sure dagger is a great ship but I never get to use it, in particular in a mirror. SF MUST be in the starting lineup and neither Fury nor B28 can be benched. For a brief window of time, not everyone knew that and mirrors were a breeze. Not so much anymore.

I find it weird that the Mk6 can escape out of the destroyed hanger, seems like its a flaw or bug still. I hate the exceptions to the absolutes in this game, the list keeps growing.
I agree with most of what you're saying except for this. It states very plainly in the kit:
"Mark VI starts with 10 stacks of Devouring Swarm, and can't be defeated or destroyed while it has Devouring Swarm."
If I'm not mistaken that text hasn't changed since Mk6 was released. So it's very intentionally designed to circumvent the destroy affect of sabotage the hanger. Annoying, sure - but definitely not a bug.
