Hi - I was hoping we could get a precise time for the raid blackout from someone in the know. We know it is the 27th, but not what time on the 27th, and that’s important to help us use all our tickets without going over and losing the raids!Current guesses are midnight PST11:00 AM (ish) PST with an update3:00 PM (ish) with an updateSomething else? But no one knows for sure. So if we could get an official word, it would be lovely! Thanks!

There won't be a compensation, you will get full raid tickets (something you would get anyway during a week) and that's it.

ok. so we lose a week of raid rewards. In addition judging by the lack of them telling us what the new rewards will be, I suspect the rewards for the new raid won't add up to all the rewards we would have gotten with the old raids combined in a week. I want to be proven wrong, but the track record for CG isn't good at all when it comes to this sort of stuff.

At least now I know that my R8 SLKR can solo it in less than 3 min. lol

This is easy: August. One time, 6 years ago, they told us we were getting something in August. August came and went, and the raid never came. Then when it did come, it was clear they screwed something up. So no, they just tell us the absolute bare minimum, so when stuff is put into the game we can't say "but you said!"

So, we likely won't even get a forum post with rewards. We'll just have to wait to see it in game.

I have a question about the new changes to the current raids, seems I've seen it in writing that we're only going to be able to participate in 1 raid at a time, so with that in mind are these changes to the raids going to keep up with the rewards we'll be missing out on due to this change?

They're adjusting the raid rewards to make up for what we're missing by only doing one raid at a time. No one knows what this looks like yet, so the jury is still out on how well the new system will fill the void.
