I think it would make sense to give bonus points for each battle in GAC depending on when it takes place. I would break it into 4 6 hour chunks. In the first 6 hours I would give 3 bonus points per battle, in the second 2, in the third 1 and in the fourth none. Just a small offset so everybody doesn’t play a game of chicken for who will attack first for 22 hours.

People have lives outside of this game that usually take priority, so this would just punish anyone that is having to do something right when the attack phase begins.So no, awful idea.

You can move your fleet payout time to a time you know you can be consistently free. You cannot move the attack phase of GAC.I’ve seen GAC matches where the difference between winning and losing was by 1 point. You really want to give the win to someone who is able to attack first simply because their opponent is sleeping?

As someone else said, it's international and people may be sleeping when GAC opens. Fleet arena payouts can be changed to accommodate a schedule, GAC start cannot.

At a minimum they shouldn’t show our attacks until the time is up. GAC is turning into a who can be on in the last hour fest. It’s more limiting on your life not to have these bonus points.

Suppose I let you pick your score for the round out of two bags. If you pick the first bag always gives you 1600 points. If you pick the second bag you have a 50/50 chance of getting 1400 points or 1800 points.

Let's assume that you are correct, that waiting gives a "huge advantage," (I disagree with the premise, fwiw), you seem to be ignoring the fact that a large portion of the playerbase simply cannot attack for the first several hours of any given attack phase. Why do you want to give an advantage based on geography?

IF something has to change in GAC is: 1.Better matchmaking taking gp and gls into account and 2: better rewards when you reach higher league.
