Can somebody explain this to me? How can you cheat using flight-mode? Why is there even the need to use flight-mode any more?
So, we used to use flight-mode to prevent the battle from 'submitting'. I don't think you could have considered it cheating though, the battle still would stand as a loss. You just wouldn't pre-load the team you were facing, like if you backed out.
However, you now get a choice. So, there's zero need to use flight-mode. The game does that mechanic for you. (Also suggesting that it wasn't cheating, but not good coding that you had to do it).
If you look at the players in and around Kyber in GAC there are so many that simply cannot be there yet they are.
So, you're talking about these small accounts that appeared in Kyber 1 (there were a lot) and are now filtering down Kyber? If they were cheating (and why would they) they'd have been banned. They appeared after a squish coding change. So, although we've never been told why or what is happening. It's quite clear it is a coding issue that they don't want to touch.
My hunch is that it has something to do with a legacy GAC score and having some time away from GAC/game. Why would you cheat to get smashed every game? They're not getting winning rewards. I'd be more frustrated if I were one of these players, than you an observer.
It isn't right though. CG should have stepped in and manually corrected it.
Reporting does absolutely nothing and besides all the cheating
Reporting is very opaque. That isn't good, I guess. However, I also don't believe the reporter should be kept up-to-date with issues on players they reported. It's true when you report, you're posting to ....who knows. Cheaters do get banned though, we see that constantly.
Your nuance is that 'there are cheaters everywhere'. This is definitely not the case. The most prevalent is Ship Arena. In GAC, AFAIK, I've never faced a cheater and I've been playing since the start.
If you're referring to accounts that are in Kyber and shouldn't be there. See above, they won't get banned, because they haven't cheated or chose to be there. This is a coding issue, not a cheating issue.
this game is totally unstable and crashes constantly. I'm staring now at my frozen battle in conquest for the third time, wasting my time and energy.
Is it? I remember the game getting a little like that for me when my phone was old. I rarely get frozen battles or crashes. Lost button bugs, that's a definite thing. Crashing and freezes, I guess can happen, but very very rare for me. I can't remember my lst time. This sounds to me more your connection or equipment.
I've seen post of people complaining and i have complained about the crashes and yet they not fixed.
I guess there have been some, yes. Maybe, when we started to get freezes in store, the game had been updated to a point where some older equipment has become unreliable.
Go take a look at the ranks in Kyber and go look at some of those roasters. Then you will no longer wonder. The game is packed with cheaters there is no doubt at all. You cannot be 3-4m GP and in Kyber mate. You must be looking at a diff game in that case. I'm in Arodium and everyone is over 10m GP.

My fleet has players with 300m gp fleets vs my 600m GP fleet with or without mirror match ups and they move me daily. I've played long enough to know this is not possible yet they are still playing. Afaik they go into flight mode and use a cheat that makes their fleet far stronger then it is and then move you. Look into on google or reddit if you confused about it its happening and they don't get banned.
The players at the top of Kyber with under 5 mil GP are not cheating. This is a known issue where some players get slingshot from Bronzium to the top of Kyber. I think there was a post by another player a long time ago explaining the issue. CG acknowledged there was a problem a year or two ago, but we haven't heard any updates since then.
Just further illustrates the game is broken.
I'm a 6 mil player with one GL who beat an 11 mil active opponent with most of the GLs in GAC fair and square. Would you call me a cheater because their strategies and modding were poor and mine weren't?

Certainly aren't. I'm in K2 and I've seen some very very polished 9 million accounts in K2. There's only so much GP that can be used in GAC. The rest is just bloat (for GAC).

Are you the same person as the OP? You're at least connected, you have the exact same issues. Some crashes, I grant you are the game and should be fixed. Connection issues.........I'm not getting them at all. I see very few complaints about them either. At most I'll give you the game vs you issues.

Well I'll give you that. If you're going to see cheaters, you're most likely to see them in fleets.

Well, I'd like to see the match ups themselves. That's not necessarily cheating. You seem very hung up on 'GP is king'.

Ahhhh OK. Thanks for the explanation, I didn't know about it. So, the cheat isn't 'using flight mode', but a cheat they can get around the system whilst in flight mode. That's what confused me, I thought the suggestion was 'going into flight mode was cheating'.

Nope, no longer confused. Your explanation makes sense. The banning system is opaque (I'll agree), too opaque. They could at least give some sort of feedback to reports. However, players do get banned. Newer fleet shards do appear to be a bit wild west though!
Games require more from systems with every update, if you experience lagging and other players players don’t……is it really the games fault? Sound a little like crying windows 11 doesn’t run properly on a windows 7 machine
It does happen the cheat systems. cheaters use would get flagged if used while the game is connected to the server as they game will detect an abnormality. but if your put yourself into airplane mode you can do the battle offline then reconnect and the game registers the outcome with out noticing the cheats as they were used offline. The freezing is absolutly a known issue they don't bother fixing, just like the reset bug.
They are not cheating. And you legit have no proof that they are cheating. So your accusation carries virtually no weight. It is however a confirmed bug. And if you look at the GAC history of those accounts, you will see that they are completely dead accounts. CG is aware of it, but I'm guessing fixing the root cause is probably somewhat complicated. Or I'm sure they would of done it by now.
And yes, a 300k fleet can absolutley kill a 600k fleet if you use the correct ships. So to say this just isn't possible, really speaks more to your lack of knowledge in the game then anything else. Maybe if you devoted more time into learning off meta counters instead of crying in forums accusing everyone of cheating because you lack skill, you'd actually appreciate the game.
yes they plan to Put in another system which will likely only create more problems.
