I don't mind hard content but the most content is not hard due to difficulty but rather to preloaded TM and the fact that enemy sometimes can obliterate your entire team before you even go.
I didn't get Chewie first time around and I won't get him second time around and quite possible third or forth time around and C3P0 I might be able to attempt in a year or two.
Reason is because they require factions that are quite possible useless.
This game should be focused on newer players and help them close gap with existing player base but is actually doing opposite.
I have been playing for 7 months now and currently am farming T3M4 for Revan event and after that I will start farming Veterans (which might take a while to get to 7*) for JTR event.
And I still need to farm KRU and Executioner for FO team, Qi'ra and L337 for Solo Scoundrels and now have to add 2 Ewoks to "need to farm in Cantina Battles" list.
On hard nodes I am currently faming Mother Talzin, Nightsister Zombie, Resistance Trooper and alternate between Bossk and Nihilus. My Sion is 2* and I would also like to farm Malbus, Shoretrooper, Visas Marr and bunch of other characters before spending my time and effort on BH or Ewoks.
The problem is single hard node farms for 20 energy and the fact that if you are starting now as a new player you are hosed because you missed all those Marquee events and it means that you will have to farm all those characters on single 20 energy hard node from the 0.
Perhaps if they left all those marquee events available to new players to participate in them it would help with this problem. They could leave those marquee available and then when new player does it he/she would get 3* character and have an option to buy forth star for $9.99 like it is usually. Ironically this would probably increase CG revenue as well and help newer players.
As of now farming takes longer for new player than it took for some of you that have been playing for a while and event requirements just seem to be going higher and higher.
And if you look into guild recruitment section of the forum you will see why I am farming NS and JTR required characters and probably should be working on something called Chex Mix and not BH and Ewoks.
