This argument is for First Order and Resistance only. The Veteran Smugglers are a completely different issue.

I'm guessing that many people around 8-16 months playing might not have resistantance all 7*.
Any player who missed cls would be highly motivated to get ready for his return.
But resistantance is very strong in many modes of game so longer term players should have them.
As for FO, again same as cls if you missed bb8 seems you would have went back to them and got ready for his return

Here’s the thing, though... Why don’t they have Resistance at 7?

Is it because they’ve been working on First Order and Phoenix for Thrawn/BB8/Palpatine? That’s fine, you can’t do everything at once and farming for known stuff is safer than gambling on something that may never exist.

Is it because they’re going off some guide written by some Arena-obsessed jerk? Then that’s on them for not keeping their eyes on their own paper.

The point is that it isn’t as simple ad some folks don’t have it. It’s more important why they don’t, and whether they’re gaining in some other way by not having them.

I kinda agree with this... We knew the movie was coming and that faction events are the the way to go in this game.

Look at every previous event to unlock toon.
Yoda,thrawn,cls,r2,bb8,ep.
All possible to have done as ftp.
For sure limited amount of people unlocked any of these 1st time but ALL of them were possible to obtain without spending money

No, I won't be jumping on yet another wagon.

This is a poor way to maintain player interest: keep churning out new characters and fail to improve ones already available that players invest heavily in.

That's exactly what they did with the Thrawn release... they accelerated the Phoenix cadence for it.

When they did the Phoenix release, it was still possible to unlock Thrawn if you were F2P though.

They have never even once released a legendary character that was impossible to unlock the first time if you were F2P .

The last Hero's Journey event only unlocked at 7*. If they combine the short release they gave Phoenix with the 7* to unlock from CLS, then it will be a bad idea unless they put one of them in galactic war and the other on a cantina node.

Yes but they gave you enough time to farm them without buying packs to unlock the character.

If 7* is required, that would require twice as much time to be obtainable as what was given between Phoenix release and the event.

Hence if they require smugglers and the event comes out requiring them less than a month later and Rey is only obtainable 7* it will be the first time they've ever released a new legendary toon that was unobtainable f2p.

Am I only person who see zero chance of this event not having poe?
