Useless to do galactic challenge anymore?

Question

I've reached the box 50 in the episode track and now I wonder why I should even do the galactic challenge anymore? The episode currency is flowing over, there is only once a week a refresh in the store so basically there is nothing to gain anymore. I really think it's a pity this way if you don't encourage playing anymore (good side: got some more time left :)).

I would like to suggest to refresh the episode store more often so that you can really use the currency and in such way makes it attractive to still do the challenges for example.

It would help if the forum was easier to oversee. Since the new layout it's terrible. So sorry, but many posts shows the importance I guess...

And the post you mention only talks about raising the cap, but that doesn't solve anything. As long as you can't use it, it doesn't help.

There will be more options to buy. More Omis and more Microattenuators for example.

What I decided to do with all the extra currency is to spend it on character shards, despite it being a poor value. At least that way we still get some SSC.

I'm trying not to do that until towards the end of the episode so that way I save currency for when the shop refreshes

However, next episode there is a lot more quality of life changes and it is all positive. As scoundrel pointed out in the comments here
