What’s up with the MK 5 A/KT stun gun?

To clarify a couple of misleading/wrong things I see in this thread:
1) There is no gear in the arena store.
2) The stun guns are in guild events and shard shops. Not regular guild store.
3) They show up randomly. There's been no change to the frequency, unless you can prove otherwise with data (and not just two days of data for you personally, but a large sample size of data across the community).
I buy them from both of the available stores every chance I get.
