YAY a new event...(two minutes later)...well that event went by quickly

Would you rather pay crystals for everything? The devs worked to put an event together that rewards us and is free for the first time through. I appreciate that. Especially after the Citadel debacle.

lmao - on credit days we are practically given 105k credits for one round. So tier 1 of a special event is useless. For many of us that have been playing awhile. we probably have enough purple mats and1k or 2k of the other types that will never be used. So tier 2 is also useless.

Tier 3, in fact with its gold mat is nice for being "free", but its a single mat we earn every day and refreshes are 200 crystals... stupid.

Yes, these "events" are worthless.

Go and play Overwatch when they have a special event and come back and tell me how generous the devs are for this game which has generated them a lot of money.

It bothers me when people suggest that we should appreciate and be thankful for things that don't cost crystals. They would have very few customers at all if everything cost crystals. It's not them being nice, it's them hoping that the people they keep hooked with the free stuff will eventually want to buy stuff.

Also, to suggest that we should say thank you for them working so hard to put an event together is also bothersome. Nothing they have released in recent history, minus ships, is any different than anything else they have released since the game started. To suggest that they do anything but copy and paste previously used code snippets for any of this content is silly.

The op's frustration with the length of these events is valid.

What was new about this omega battles event? It has been around for a while and it was also announced back in december so nothing really special about it.

More entertainment on the forum in the last 36 hrs than the game. Lol.
