Episode quest complete 5 galactic challenge feats

All times are in Australian.

The episode quest "complete 5 galactic challenge feats" was unlocked this morning but the galactic challenge was released last night. I completed what feats I could in the galactic challenge last night. Now I'm unable to complete this quest until the next galactic challenge rolls around (in 3-4 days). By which point the 2nd chapter of quests will be unlocked and I'm unsure if the previous quests will be able to be completed.

Is this intentional (punishing players that play the game and complete things early)

I have gone back in and completed the highest teir of the galactic challenge (the 10 feats for completing the battle with the episode pass purchased would have been completed if I hadn't already completed it) and it did not complete the quest.
