High School Graduation

Recently have gotten back into playing Sims 3. I have played multiple saves and multiple families. And every family with teens, I've had issues with graduating from high school. I've played with and without mods. Regardless of what I try I cant get graduation to pop up. I know it happens after the teen ages up and usually happens on the weekend. I've tried googling for help but have had no success. Is it a lost cause or is there something that will fix it. Everything else that happens at city hall seems to work fine. I just don't wanna keep having my teens not graduate. Can anyone help. Thanks in advance. Let me know if you need more info. Sorry if this problem is posted already.

  • PCB82  Please make absolutely sure Generations is in fact loading when you play.  Packs deselecting themselves is unfortunately a common occurrence.  One easy way to tell whether Generations is present is to look for a baby stroller in Buy mode.

As for the game not working right, it happens, and I don't know why in this case, but you're really not missing much, just a day off from work and a moodlet for the new YA and the parents.

I have everything for Sims 3 minus a few store items. I just played the Hart household. Bebe starts as a teen close to aging up. I got her an A and on the honor role. She aged up early in the week and I kept playing. 4 days into young adult she had still not got a graduation prompt or anything. I know it's a trivial issue, just bugs me when the game doesn't work righ.

  • PCB82  Do you have Generations installed?  Graduation comes with that EP.  It's also automatic, usually a day after the sims age up.  They'll get a prompt to go, to change into their robes and the like, and the whole household will get the day off from work/school.

Without Generations, sims don't graduate, they just move onto being adults and are able to get jobs and do whatever else they want; there's no need for a diploma.
