Hi everyone,
I recently purchased Sims 3 on Steam and registered it on the EA app. However, when I try to register the game on the Sims 3 website, I keep getting an error message that says the code is invalid. I’ve tried multiple times, but the issue persists. Additionally, I’m unable to contact support. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, how did you resolve it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
@kimysaur If you registered the game in the EA App, the code has already been used and can't be registered a second time. The Store site should already recognize that you own the game, as long as you're signing in with the same email address and password as you use in the EA App: the Store draws from the same database as the other EA services.
Please sign in with that email and password, go to My Page, and see whether the site thinks you own the content you've registered. It's listed on the left and down a bit:
@kimysaur That's not going to help. I'm not sure why the game isn't showing as owned on the Store site, but you might want to wait 24 hours to see whether something is lagging on the EA side.
