mannnnnuu One other suggestion I have is to create your own Sims3Pack by exporting a household or lot, then move the file from Exports to Downloads and see what happens. The idea is to see whether the problem is any Sims3Pack, or simply any that you download from elsewhere. If the created one works, that's weird; if it doesn't work, I guess the OS (or some OS setting) has broken the feature.
Apple has also released Sequoia 15.5 if you want to try updating. I would definitely suggest it if the above doesn't work, just to see.

K-Hippie The problem covered in this thread is that the launcher crashes when someone attemps to view the content in the Downloads tab. That's not the same as the content being unrecognized. If your launcher is NOT crashing, and the content simply doesn't show up, please create your own thread.
puzzlezaddict I created my own Sims3Pack by exporting a household with lot, then moved the file from Exports to Downloads - it didn't work, crushed same way. I also did software update, it didn't help either.
