Launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3

Hey all, 

puzzlezaddict​ made me aware of this issue yesterday and I was able to get some eyes from Maxis on it. We're able to reproduce this behavior on our side now and are investigating the root cause as we speak. 

I'll pop any further updates we get on this one into this thread. Thank you for your patience.
