Re: I can't redeem codes on the sims 3 website

Hi @tmmyhlh,

Are you still having issues to redeem your code? I've just checked and the website is working for me, I hope it was only a temporal issue and you can access now.

  • I am having the same issue , just bought roaring heights and the code won't redeem. It's as if it was processing the code indefinitely

    I'm also trying to redeem Roaring Heights, but it's not working. When I tried to redeem the code it was loading indefinitely. Eventually, the session expired so I logged back in. Once I did that, I tried again , and this time it said "The code you entered has already been used. Please check the code entered and try again. If you continue to receive this error it may be that the code has already been applied." I checked to see if Roaring Heights was registered, but it wasn't. I tried redeeming the code a couple more time, but it's still not working.

    Try log into your the sims 3 account my store account-purchase history see if your world is there to download if not you will need to contact support as only they can look at and handle account/code related issues

  • I bought roaring heights and when i entered the code to redeem it, it wouldn’t stop processing it. I’ve tried re-entering the code and refreshing the page, but nothing works.
  • I just bought the two bundle packs on origin one being the worlds , the other is generations. I have 4 codes and when I type them in the spinner spins forever and times out. What am I supposed to do now?

    @meggs117  Generations being an expansion pack should have 5 groups of 4 characters. Worlds being a store item should have 4 groups of 4 characters. You can redeem codes in Origin or thesims3.com site. Is your computer a pc or mac? Where did you buy the codes?

    Hi @meggs117,

    The Sims 3 Generations should appear in your Origin Game Library, no need to redeem it in thesims3.com. If you click on The Sims 3 in Origin, and then Extra Content, you will find the pack there ready to be downloaded 🙂

    For the worlds, once the page times out, could you please try to refresh the page and introduce the same code a second time? Please, let us know if that works for you.

  • I’ve done that all day with no success. No change in the situation. Yes I know generations is fine. I have been playing it. I would like the other items in these bundles that I paid for.

  • Sorry, but I don't understand the difference between "Register a game" and "Redeem a code". I feel like I would be able to enter my Sims 3 code in either but the "Redeem a code" one only has 4 boxes instead of 5

    Hi @morsimsy:

    Welcome to the forums! Easiest way to explain would be:

    -Register a game - use it for registering the base game, stuff and expansion packs. The games itself, the ones you download using Origin or install using a disc.

    -Redeem a code - use this one to redeem The Sims 3 Store content. This is the content you can download from thesims3.com.

  • Thank you for quick reply! I was trying to register my Sims 3 games on the Sims 3 website but they didn't register. I have already registered the games years ago on that account, but they don't seem to be there anymore. So now when I try to register, it seems like the website thinks I am using codes already registered, which they are (but on the same account years ago). Therefore I can't register the games.

    Hello,

    I'm trying to redeem the game Sims 3 on thesims3.com, but I get the following error 

    The serial code you entered is invalid. Please enter a valid serial code and re-submit.
    What does this mean?

    I am sure that the code is correct and the original code of the game I bought. What can I do?
