Mac user with basic sim 3 package No packs yet (maybe later when get more cash went to the exhange Ever since they switched over from orgin to ea I can get in with my account (wont post it here) with out having to change anything Just basic sims 3 package here no add ons.. Want to download from exchange i,d say forget it.. can get me to https://store.thesims3.com/ but wont let me download anything.. where do custom content stuff show up?

The thread you've linked is about an issue that was significant a couple years ago but is much less common now, and at the time, it only happened in Windows because there was no EA App for Mac. So the workaround may not have any effect at all.
[CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 3 Store content uninstalls/won't reinstall, EA App | EA Forums - 11195730 i,m aware of this.. I see it has not been fixed.. fits my issue.. But how do I verify latest game data? or should try work around?
