Technical Difficulty

I just downloaded The Sims 3 game last night and was able to play. I tried to open the game this morning and I keep getting the same message that there is something wrong with the game loading for me to play. I do have the discs but my pc doesn't have a disc player so the game is just downloaded from the codes. I would greatly appreciate some help!
