DLC Kit Idea
Hi! Good day to you!
Since the Project Rene vision seems hazy at least for now, how about a batch of Retro Reboot CAS and Build Mode items, i.e. resurrections of items that come from past Sims iterations (and then some), those fan favorites, iconic/inspired/unique items that give the game character, beauty, and possibility, interactive items that make the Sims a dream-come-true for Life Simulation gamers, or gameplay features that give it a difference as well as excitement, more interaction-cohesion. Like unique and indispensable functions for places such as The Grove & Sixam, e.g. very fast skill building or, I dunno, features that make things possible only the Sims... dating, getting married in the Grove or these other secret places. I was missing the Touch of Teak Tansu Dresser, the ElectroDance Sphere, HottCorp Burning 8-R Series Fire Jet, Astrowonder & Farstar e3 telescopes, and most of the career rewards... How about stand fans? Items that are both impossibly imaginative and/or mundane & nostalgic (or too pricey) around the world, like the original Sims music. Maybe the Car functionality (E-Cars? maybe Eco Lifestyle integrated, Seasons sensitive) If the Sims can give even more in these present times, why not? Eternal Youth, Omnipotence, Beauty, Seduction, Safety, Simoleons, Consequences... simple things like that are what, I think, keeps The Sims appealing, celebrated, refreshing, and fearless for me.
I feel like the last few Sims iterations have fulfilled some suggestions in Sims 1&2, casually more so in Sims 4. So now, what other suggestions have you? An idea: what about uploading/scanning data like images or whatever for automatic CAS? If its safe for our real-world rights to privacy of course.
The Sims for me was an escape from our harsh reality to another reality of agency and freedom (freedom of expression at least), like any good toy, it is part of my life and has helped me become the creative gay person that I am today, quite happy and not dead. That escape helped me face the real world with some more confidence in myself, my creative identity, and some clarity or focus in what's important in my lifetime, this virtual simulation pc game from the turn of the new millenium may have been a tool for kids to practice for real life, like any good toy. And on that promise, maybe it would be good to give a game update like this for free? Thank you for all about the Sims you've given us so far!!! It's really been fun!!
PS: Can Ambrosia look more special? The red gelatin from Sims 2 looked good, like the red gelatin Ambrosia from Xena. Right now it looks like tofu than manna ;D
