Graphic Update with Realistic Skin, Eyes, Feet etc.

If The Sims 4 is going to continue, we need a realistic default skin. Hands, feet, and facial features should have more detail. It's time to move away from the cartoonish style — more realistic eyes, new hair and eye colors, and an overall graphics update that makes build and cas items more realistic would really improve the experience.

  • I totally disagree.  I only play one game and it is TS4.  What drew me to TS4 is how the Sims look--cartoonish style.  No one rivals TS4 in this area.  If they change the Sims to look more realistic, that will be it for me.  Please also stay away from making alpha hair a thing.  😒

This is what differentiates TS4 from anything else and makes it so appealing.   I do not need a realistic look which would fall into uncanny valley and plain creepy looking.   🤪

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I agree. This would be changing or challenging the game's art style which is not based on photorealism or realistic skins.

People can use cc for realistic features and skintones if that's their play style.

I purposely like Sims 4 because it DOES NOT have realistic graphics. If this is something you really want, there is Custom Content for this. It is usually considered alphs style. I prefer the cartoony look since I do not really play the game for realism.

No thanks. I prefer maxis match. Alpha would also increase the required specs needed to play the game. That would alienate much of the player base. Like I said, if you want a realistic look and play on a computer, there is custom content that meets that need. There are too many gamebreaking bugs in the game already, so changing the graphics style isn't something I want EA to even entertain.
