I feel I should narrow down my idea for that midwest vibe yeah?
theme: midwestern gothic
environment: mainly consisting of plains with a hiking trail on a hilly area in the background (consisting of limestone sides- very common here) with woods, a lake of sorts (with functional boats to at least to get to some sort of landing like in the Cats and Dogs pack). The town square something kind of similar to Copperdale but less industrial, and the pack would feature more functional Rv's/trailer homes with like, actual wheels(??) or at the least just have a place with said trailers. Small pre-fab styled houses with the more wealthy district having 1920s-1930s styled craftsman bungalows (again, very common). The towns center I think should have some sort of souvenir shop or something to tie to a certain famous cryptid in that area and them some random statue in the towns center (I mean random. Chicago has a bean and Missouri has a fork...).
function/career: sims can have a cryptid hunting career. I think id be similar to the ghost hunting from Paranormal but instead of séances you have recording equipment and traps to try to prove or disprove. I also like the idea of a forest ranger in the woodsy area that sims could talk to and see of there is any evidence of a cryptid making sims disappear/overall weird sightings. That could also be a legitimate career as well (which I would prefer not to be a rabbit hole and said sim could actually live IN the tower but that'd be too much a probably crash lower functioning pc's).
cross pack: i think this could easily be cross pack compatible with paranormal, life and death, and strangerville and probably a few others with specific moodlets and activities.
Oh_prettycoolman Now this might be too ambitious, but it would love it if they could add functional RVs to the game. Here me out: you could pick out an RV from a few options, decorate it, and you would be able to move it to any lot that had enough space on it, taking your home with you. Better yet if they could find a way to set the RV on a Road or pathway in the neighborhood so you could move it almost anywhere. Maybe add Mississippi houseboats while their at it.
Functional RV.....want a functional roadster car if this becomes an available option.
