Rabbits

Could Sims 4 get Rabbits as pets, with equal standing as dogs and cats have?

Some Rabbit facts:

+Rabbits have different breed variations, coats, colors, ear types, body types, and personalities.

+Rabbits live for 12-15 years with good care.

+Rabbits are able to be kept as cats and dogs are, indoors, and they have playful personalities with their person.

+Rabbits can be spayed and neutered.

+Rabbits are more akin to cats with behaviors such as using a litterbox, supperfluous grooming, and overall quieter dispositions.

All of these Rabbit characteristics would transfer into Sims 4 pets for unique companions.

Sims could have their Rabbits (once the bond is high enough):  dig for treasure, perhaps find Alice and Wonderland inspired reference items, and bring plants to their Sim. If the bond is low enough the Rabbit could destroy the yard or garden, destroy furniture like cats do, and even attack a Sim as dogs and cats can do.

Most sincerely, please think about it EA. I badly want pet rabbits in the game. I cannot be the only one.

I can get behind Rabbits as a new pet I also want Birds. If they are going to do either or both they should at least attempt to be half as robust as Cats or Dogs.

  • I'd like to see a white rabbit NPC added somewhere in a world, that sims can follow down a rabbit hole. With the sims 4's fondness of using rabbit holes, it would be such a funny meta thing to put in and would be in line with the more surreal stuff they did in earlier sims games.

Like in the pop ups the sim could even think about how cool it would be if others get to see what they see. Going down the rabbit hole could give a few possible unique rewards not found elsewhere that are not common objects either.

  • I'd love to see some more small pets added to the game. We have quite a lot of animals now but there are still some glaring omissions like pet birds and pet rabbits. I usually add the wild rabbit/bird homes to rural lots but those wild creatures are very particular about who they befriend!

The age rating of the game might not allow them to give you the bird though.

But all joking aside, there is the crow which is nice. Might be neat if they add a few more birds like that which are not household members since that takes up a slot. But maybe like a parrot they could talk with and maybe other birds, each offering their own interactions. Maybe a falcon you could have like in Sims medieval.

  • It would be great if rabbits and other small animals in general could get some more love in this game. Older Sims games used to have more small animals (Sims 2 had birds, while Sims 3 had all those small animals and reptiles wandering about the world). With the small animals we got in My First Pet Stuff, the birds and rabbits we got in Cottage Living and the crow we got in Life & Death, it would be great if there was a way to expand upon them.
