Sports pack ideas

I do like the different muscles you did because my sim maxed out their fitness and they look strong and have  muscles but now I chose for them extreme sports such as rock climbing and snowboarding, rock climbing I mean they are using their body so muscles should be gained even more.

I wish sims could actually play soccer or football a bit instead of just kicking or passing the ball to one another. Maybe they could add hockey as a sport to the ice rinks, one goalie post and two or four players, not professional game, but how neighbourhood kids would play. I liked how in TS2 they had soccer, with goal net and sims could try to score. It felt more like soccer than just bouncing the ball on the knee.

i searched for sport ideas and i love this idea, i made something similair but quite differently and for me it's Latin America related world but i'm okay with Africa world too

we need more sport aspirations since we only have 3 of them at this moment
the more people sees our ideas, the more they'll make an Expansion Pack for this

we barely have swimming lots so i should include that in my ideas aswell

• I would love a sports pack like gymnastics, volleyball, tennis, golf, baseball, swim meets, synchronized swimming, diving competition, hockey, ice hockey. Track and Field. 
• Like Olympic sports . 

I'd love to see more sports included and I'd love some of that sportswear in @Vyo4 's post! That looks so cool. We've been asking for a while so hopefully it's on the radar.

Been thinking more about this Sports Pack idea, @thornwill , along with your other post suggesting a clinical objects Stuff pack. I wonder if both could be achieved in a single Sports-themed expansion pack? By combining Physical Therapy & Sports Training, both of these goals could be met.

When one pushes themselves to the limit in sports, injury is going to happen. Not just sore muscles, but maybe a Sim twisted their ankle doing Gymnastics, or developed Runner's Knee and has a limp. Here's an opportunity to focus on another important part of Sports Training: Healing and recovery.

Physical Therapy offers the chance to include another requested game mechanic: Canes, crutches, walkers. These devices are necessary for healing and therapy.

A Sports & Physical Therapy pack would open the door for a Ramp build tool. Each stair level translates to a 1x1 tile ramp incline. Ramps would not only benefit injured Sims, but Sims aged Elder, Infant, and Toddler. Future gameplay could use ramps, such as Baby Strollers, Wheelchairs, Mobility Scooters.

A Sports & Therapy pack could introduce a new Community Lot Type: Athletic Center. Here sports-related activities are sought out and performed autonomously. On-site NPCs could be a Physical Therapist and a Sports Trainer.

Sports Training could include:

• Agility Ladder
• Vertical Jump
• Pull-Up Bar
• Squat Rack
• Indoor Cycling machine - low impact therapy
• Elliptical Trainer - low impact therapy
• Jump Rope:

  • Running in Place
  • High Knees
• Treadmill Update:
  
  • Therapy slow pace
  • Walk Mode

Physical Therapy could include:

@thornwill Great idea! A South African inspired world would be fun to explore and experience.

Sports is a great community activity and has been a much desired request from the Sims Community. A focus on sports training would be a fun new way to use the Fitness skill and experience new activities.

I like your idea of adding Gymnastics and Competitive Swimming. I'd propose a Running Track too!

There could be a Stadium lot where Sims could host Tail-gate parties in the parking lot. Then they could jump into the Stadium to watch the game. There could be a "Big Game" event where Sims could celebrate the victory afterward in the parking lot.
