Wildflowersxo1 Those are the things I loved about previous Sims games too, especially Bustin Out. I loved moving to different locations and as a builder the first thing I'd do would be to rebuild everything. Mom's house and Dudley's trailer got quite the upgrade and so did the nightclub...I mean they were sleeping on chairs when my Sim arrived! I wonder if they could make a scenario for Sims 4 with a similar theme, to move in with an established original family and give them an upgrade of some kind.
I liked the pet grooming service in previous games too. I liked being able to send them off to be pampered and since we could directly control pets back then we could see the pampered buffs they had when they returned. I wish we could at least send pets off to be groomed now. I'm noticing they get grubby more quickly lately and get sick of bathing them.
You can add different types of locations depending on content though. If you have Get to Work you can build a shopping mall. I built a successful mall in my game with small gift shops, an ice rink and food court. Only one Sim can own it at a time. You can create an arcade too. Get Together has an arcade machine but the base game has the gaming mats. You'd just need to set the lot as the right lot type depending on what content you have. I have a Rocket Park with all kinds of science activities and I used the Generic lot type but it didn't get many visitors so I switched it to National Park I think. Seasons adds rinks so I have a few of those too and then there's Bowling from the Bowling Night pack. I put those in Gyms and Bars. They make public lots a bit more interesting and fun to visit. Growing Together adds some great items to liven up public pools too. I also like the camping gear from Outdoor Retreat for making a campsite or for extending a trip to the Forgotten Grotto or Sylvan Glade. Movie Hangout or Little Campers both add outdoor movie screens to make an outdoor cinema and I add those to parks.
