500 hours gone due to the new update
when i went to play the sims4 every save, build, screenshot and household i made was gone. years of work down the drain due to the newest update. i've looked everywhere and there's no way to fix it....

Are you using oneDrive ?
This can often happen if the game changes from where it reads the files after an update.
Here's instructions to check which folder your game currently uses: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder
Check both folder if they have save games.
Also always make backups of your user folder in case something goes wrong.
