- @Strangelovekraft I 100% agree, that being able to hand over save files or last extensions in an easy manner, without file types being restricted or having to use a personally identifyable email address to send these is not a great idea (although I might not care on something that doesn't have my real name). And things like drop box can stop syncing, or worse (once I had some save files only accessable to one particular group and limited who could see it, but somehow I think people were able to overlode my drop box so it stopped syncing, and this may be a 'google' issue). Really, drop box is sorta only for paying customers. I miss the days of file-sharing with yahoo, at least people could get game saves, songs or small things in a relevant and straight-forward way, but then it was taken away. So, yeah I can only share so much as well, based on not having many 'good' options available. But I do try to help out where I can.
@Strangelovekraft, @sailornaru I couldn't agree more. I've been always thinking about what I can do to help the developers solve issues.
In my game environment, several "lastexception" files are dumped whenever I play TS4.
If those files, and other related filed, are able to help the devs, I'm willing to provide them.
I want to know what kind of information they need and how I provide it to them. So, I hope the devs will provide the way to do it.

Serious question to someone at EA, what is the strategy for fixing bugs reported by the community here? There is now a massive list of bugs reported but very few get fixed per update as I see it. As an example the chef standing outside for a couple of hours before going to work, feels like a simple fix (without the cheat), the mannequin problem... Be great to hear from someone 'in the know' what is being done and why it takes so long to fix but still add features ?

If you allow it in your settings, dumps such as lastExceptions should be shared with EA (afaik). Just tick Share Usage Data. Saves are of course not shared that way.
@crinrictoh, thanks, I don't think mine is turned on, so this might help you guys get the last exceptions. I do wish we had a better way to get those saves to you guys in a good manner, but this helps some. Actually, I just checked again, and it is turned on already, so you guys probably got any exception data. But I sorta forgot about looking for whether this was turned on or off.
Thank you so much, @crinrict .
I checked the Game Option window just now and confirmed that the Share Usage Data is enabled.
It seems those exception files are already shared with the developer teams without my notice.
I hope the files help the devs to address the issues.
Hi, I'm Emmanuel, so I am here because I have one bug that I don't like. This one bug is in the hospital because when my sim is in labor, she had to go to have the barbie and the extensive machine the sims use to have a baby has one bug. The childbirth machine has on a bug. When your sim is in labor, they have to go inside a machine inhospitable while the machine is working on the sim; it did some bug I don't like. Please, we need to fix this bug. Please repair all the bugs in the sims four-game because it is very upsetting.
I have had my fair share of bugs, some pretty big ones which actually have solved themselves.
I know to not be the only one still suffering from these bugs and wish to add my observations in an attempt to iron them out.
Bug 1: "My Sims aren't doing what I say they stop sleeping /cooking within seconds!"
This I had too my Sims stopped sleeping in mere seconds and I think I may have figured out why.
The mistake I made (and I would guess probably others as well) is leaving the music on.
I noticed whenever the music is off /broken the Sims do sleep and even wake up from turning on Lullabies.
I know music can help in sleep while with some it won't, with the Sims if there is music active turn it off and let your SIms do what you're told again.
If this doesn't fix it with others (it did with me) more research would be needed.
Bug 2: "My Vampires aren't drinking autonomously!"
This is a big one and I've seen Crin (who I suspect to read this) know he hears this still a lot.
Asking people if they're using mods even while most play Vanilla.
So if you read this, allow me to ask you a question instead.
"Crin, you tested it with which DLCs /Expansions active?"
I had this problem as well Vampires did not drink Autonomously until I bought 2 Bundles for the Sims from a few days back.
The one with get together /City Living as well as the Mermaid DLC bundle one of which also included Seasons.
The problem seems to be fixed for me completely, Vampires now do indeed drink autonomously.
I know these observations may rise more questions than they answer.
But I do hope these are helpful for future endeavors to iron out some issues.
Happy Gaming from Marilyn

You can read the maintained list in the bugs forum.
- @jpkarlsen Sorry, can you please clarify? I'm not certain if my post was comprehended. Are you referring to the '[READ FIRST] Compiled list of reported Issues ' topic?
If you are, that's not what this topic is about. The list created by 'crinrict', is dedicated to individual issues with the game. My topic aims to compare gameplay based solely around the issues that affect the gamer personally.
Like, there are hundreds of reported issues, right? But just because a topic is listed as a known issue, that doesn't mean we're affected by it. Not everyone experiences the same bugs, and not everyone experiences them at the same frequency, either.
Like, why do bugs affect some people and not others? And why is it some people have seamless gameplay and others experience issue after issue? If we discover a common glitch, does that mean we're likely to have more in common or do the bugs affect us at random? Do we attract certain bugs in the way we conduct our gameplay?
I can't be the only one who's agreed with a poster's bug report and wondered whether that glitch is our only common issue, or whether we have more similarities in our games than we know.
The above questions are why this topic exists. The '[READ FIRST] Compiled list of reported Issues ' topic is an excellent resource to use as reference, but it cannot answer my above questions as we can't compare our similarities beyond that one topic.
Hope this makes sense.
