Businesses & Hobbies - business panel won't load

Every time I reopen my game, the business panel doesn't show my owned business, though under the career panel, the business is still shown as being owned by my sim. I have to transfer the business to another household member and then transfer it back before the business stats and options show on the "owned business" panel.
