[BY DESIGN] Story Mode: Can't pick Likes/Dislikes

Can't pick likes and dislikes in story mode is an unexpected design choice, it seems like you should be allowed to do so.  I think having the ability to choose 'None' would be a good feature, for those not wanting to have like and dislikes set.

This is from Crinrict's post above, I've just pulled it out so it stands out better.

"This issue is easy to work around. You can just take them back to CAS after placing them in the game and then you'll be able to pick likes/dislikes and they can also stilll be gained through gameplay but it would still be better if they could be picked from start."

I updated my game today, and started a new save with mods disabled.

I created a new Sim and used the Story feature to generate their traits and aspirations. I am now unable to select any Likes or Dislikes.

When clicking the new question mark icon, the menu will not open. I have tried to add likes and dislikes to a sim that I did not use the Story option with, and the menu will open.

I assume it is because once you make a sim using the Story questions, it locks in traits and the aspiration so they can't be changed, but it was not updated to auto-generate likes and dislikes as well. 

I have never reported an issue, so I am not sure if this is the correct place to put this. If not, please let me know where to send this.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into CAS use Create My Story on any Sim, and then click on the new "likes & dislikes" and it doesn't work.
What happens when the bug occurs? You can set their "likes or dislikes"
What do you expect to see? After creating my sim using my "Create My Store", you can not click on the question mark to enter the "likes & dislikes"
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

After uninstalling my Mods, and updating the patch, I decided to try out a new sim to see the new options in CAS of the Likes/Dislikes.  I used Create My Story option, and after answering the questions, my Sim was created - but when I clicked on the "?" to use the Likes/Dislike option, it did not work - would not open.   That's the issue I'm finding.

@teenikay93 You report bugs in the bug section.

I got this too, when creating a sim through Story Progression.
I started the game and in live mode I clicked on the personal panel to send the sim to CAS. That way I could assign them Likes and Dislikes.

Even if this workaround works for you can still make a bug report for the issue.

I am having the same problem and I play on the PS4. I can't choose likes or dislikes.

I too just came across this issue. It is impossible to use the new feature on already created Sims. Even creating a complete new game and new Sim (without the Story Progress) it does not work. I'm on Win 10.
