Can't Play Actor Career

Hi, I've ran into an issue where my actor sims won't complete auditions. They leave the lot, come back but that's it. The audition stays open I don't get accepted or rejected for the gig. I try to cancel the audition but I can't. After midnight in game time the audition then resets an my sim can't audition for 28 days!

I play on PC and have no mods or CC in my game.
