Can't use lots downloaded to tray folder (NOT a gallery issue)

Hi all, for some reason, I can't access any of the lots I download into my tray folder. The thumbnails show up as white lamas in my library, and when I try to click on them it says "could not locate item". All lot items were unzipped and put in the tray folder (not in a subfolder). All other CC, as well as lots and rooms downloaded in-game, work. This isn't a huge deal, but I would like to be able to use the lots I downloaded!

Thanks in advance!

@UserMnk11611 Yes, those from MCCC are very useful if you get them, they will identify the errors you are having.  I can try and help you with them.

@UserMnk11611 Thanks!  You might need to delete the LE you just sent as it contains 18+ and the sims is 12+  so it will get deleted.  Don't what you to get a warning.   I think your error is more to do with posture, and your sim not having enough room to animate.  You might need to move items further away.

  • @TGamez1 Oh, thank you for the heads up! I was going to ask if I could even include that, so I appreciate it. I’m actually part of the discord and had actually gotten that same advice from someone the other day! I’m guessing none of that is related to the housing issues though, right?

@UserMnk11611 No worries!  No nothing about the lots you cannot a use. Have you spoken to the Support Team on there for help?  Or maybe EA help might be able to help you in someway.

  • @TGamez1 Yeah, I tried to post the question on the discord but never heard back, unfortunately. I can contact EA, though! Thank you for the suggestion!

@UserMnk11611 Your welcome!  It is weird they didn't answer your question.  I know you have already tried repairing,  removing your mods etc.  You might have done one the refresh folders.  Its normally the advice they give first.  Have you downloaded files you have for the sims games?  The files might be corrupted, and you need to redownload them again.  Its worth a try.  Or they might be something more technical going on.

  • @TGamez1 Oh, I hadn’t even considered that! I will definitely try that. Thank you for all of your help, it’s really appreciated!
