click and drag not working in create a sim

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? in create a sim whenever I try to edit features of sim or turn the camera
What happens when the bug occurs? not able to use click and drag. whenever I try to edit features it does nothing or only goes to the most extreme change. when I try to turn camera it dosnt work or will go extremely slow one direction
What do you expect to see? try and click and drag to change features of sim or change camera
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

makes game basically unplayable because I cannot use create a sim. started in August. have tried uninstalling and reinstalling game and repairing game multiple times with no help
