Community Gardens will not allow harvesting
I cannot harvest from any community garden. I thought maybe it was because I had no gardening skill yet, but I developed some and still cannot harvest. Please advise if this is a bug or if I'm just missing something.
I'd like to add just one thing and that is, it depends on how "developed" the community gardens are. When you start a new game, all the plants in the world including the community gardens in Oasis Springs and Willow Creek and Granite falls have to grow and bloom so to speak before you can harvest from them. So it takes spending a lot time in those areas wherever they are before you can harvest the first time. It takes trees a lot longer than the vegetable and flower plants to reach maturity but if I remember right, it can take two days or so before the vegetables and flowers and twice that for the trees. So it pays off to spend several full days roaming those areas to get the plants to mature and bear fruit the first time and keep coming back until all the plants have reached maturity. Once that happens, then you only have to get there before 5 AM as @PugLove888 , @EuphorialQueen and @RandomBuzziness have already said. The same applies to all worlds including Sixam which came with GTW. I have found that the tentacle tree takes the most time of all the other plants to bloom, grow and bear fruit since it always goes back to a pile of dirt when the season in which it bears fruit ends and moves on the next with Seasons installed. The coconut tree that came in IL is almost as bad since it does the same thing but appears to grow back a bit faster.
