Crystal Creations Bug - Modals for Cut Gem and Design Jewelry Not Working

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.105.345.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Every single one apart from the following kits: Basement treasures Fashion Street Industrial Loft Modern Menswear Bloomin' Rooms Carnival Streetwear Incheon Arrivals Modern Luxe Poolside Splash Simtimates Pastel Pop Desert Luxe First Fits Little Campers Moonlight Chic Decor to the Max
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to use the gemology table. Click Cut Gem... or Design Jewelry...
What happens when the bug occurs? A modal appears that does not have any of the gem options for cutting, or any of the jewelry design options. There's simply text that says "Supports All Curved Walls" and then the "OK" and "CANCEL" options.
What do you expect to see? The Cut Gem and Design Jewelry modals appearing as expected.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Kit has not worked since purchasing and installing on 08/03/2024. Still not working correctly after repairing the game.

    So far I've deleted the localthumbcache and repaired the game. It didn't have any effect.

    I haven't seen any come up - is there a way to check those? 

    And I haven't, do you have the steps to do this please? Thanks!

    LastException files are created in the documents folder. It's possible that none are created though

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Repair the game
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
