Digital Deluxe Content on Official Sims is a Problem

@jpkarlsen I'm sorry, but did you read the whole post? This is not about CC.

Digital Deluxe is an official pack that costs about 15 USD, but this pack doesn't have a tag in CAS and it doesn't show on the main screen where all the other packs are shown.

I don't own Digital Deluxe, and there are official sims, like Baby Ariel (GF), Kayla Flemming (GF) and Mark Eggleston (SV), who wear content from Digital Deluxe. Therefore, if I take any of these sims into CAS it will tell me that items are missing. I know for sure that the items are from Digital Deluxe, because I have already been digging into this a while back, and people have been sending me pictures of the missing clothes (I can add them in my thread-start). Both Baby Ariel and Kayla have a formal dress from Digital Deluxe, and Mark have a party outfit from Digital Deluxe.

    @diopter77Yes, I’ve repaired my game, but since I don’t own Digital Deluxe that’s not what my problem is about.

    So, the problem is that the Maxis team make official sims who are wearing some clothes that aren’t from the base game and/or the pack that the official sim is included in (for example Get Famous, as with Baby Ariel and Kayla), they wear some clothes from Digital Deluxe.

    The point with my post is that I think it’s wrong of the Maxis team to give official sims clothes that aren’t from the base game or the pack the sim comes with. If they make Digital Deluxe a free update this wouldn’t be a problem. Now it’s a pack, but it isn’t really treated as a pack, since it’s not on the main screen nor as a tag in CAS.

    I’ve never used CC or mods.
