Endless loading screen when trying to load a household

I just updated to the newest patch today and am getting the endless loading screen issue. I do play with mods in general and had updated most of them (or, at least, I believe I did).

What symptom are you seeing? When loading into a household, the game loads endlessly. I can hear the "household is done loading in" music/jingle a few seconds in, then loading screen doesn't go away.

What did you try? I tried taking out all of my mods. I tried loading a different household (without mods), which also caused an endless loading screen. I tested different lots/households in a vanilla save file I have (without mods) and the error did not occur.
I repaired the game and tried loading the household again (without mods) and the error did occur.
Then, I followed crinrict's instructions: renamed my Sims 4 folder "Sims 4_Old", repaired the game, let it create a new Sims 4 folder and started a brand new save. When testing the new save file - no error occurred.
I copied my save into the newly created S4 folder and testing the original household again - endless loading screen. If I evict the household, I can enter the lot in build mode and other households can visit that lot. This also worked in a different world. When I tried to move the OG household into a different lot in a different world, the endless loading screen happened again. All of these tries were done without any mods in.

Does it happen on a new save? Yes, I also tried to move the household into a lot in the brand new save (in the newly repaired/created S4 folder) and got the endless loading screen. This was done without any mods in.
