Yep, I had the same issue. I literally bought all the expansion, game and stuff packs for the game other than Batuu and Snowy Escape.. I recently got the Sims for my PC because I was really interested in playing with CC and mods. Well, come to discover that the Sims 4 base game is almost unplayable, especially after you are used to having all the extra content. I have noticed too after the most recent update (I believe the bunk bed one) has made the lag and performance of the Sims 4 on my Xbox to be so terrible I cant even play the game anymore, so basically nearly $400 down the drain. I recently took advantage of the spring sale on Origin to bundle together some of my top packs so I would have more gameplay to experiment with as I integrated mods and CC into my game.. needless to say it made me absolutely sick to have to pay over $100 for content I have already bought and not even halfway to where I was before. Especially giving my hard earned money to EA, a company that clearly doesn't give a ____ about their players. It disgusts me also because Windows has recently came out with an Xbox Game Pass app so you can play Windows compatible games on PC and Xbox (Cities: Skylines is an example and something I do frequently), and you can't get DLC that way either. What disappoints me the most is how EA and Maxis has made the Gallary a cross-platform system that is linked to your EA Account, however, they couldn't do that for the DLC? I see one thing, and that is MONEY for EA, even if it is at the expense of people who have been buying the same recycled content for nearly two decades...
