Funerals not working?

I’m using mods but nothing that should affect the new pack: I’m trying to do a funeral for my sim that died before the pack’s release and it says the event is currently underway yet nothing is happen...

    I actually continued playing after the post and the funeral did happen! Just like 8 hours later then the time I put it on, I redid the day a few times and it was finally able to work on around the 4th try.

@moriam6 Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache, repair your game and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods.
