Game crashes with all updated mods - Mac - Big Sur last version

Hi all,

I've had this issue for more than a year; the game crashes immediately or after 5, 10, 15, 30 mins or more.

I constantly update my mods folder ( because I download them only from Patreon), clean cache, local thumb, and avatar, uninstall and install the game and origin, repair it, etc. I've done it all, even contacting Apple thinking that my MacBook pro with Big Sur 11.2.3 might have an issue, but apparently, everything is fine. And if you are guessing to try to play without mods, I've done it, but I don't like it, and I won't play it!

Anyway, I've also been in contact with Discord with all the modders to find out a solution, they help me with mods, but they don't know how to help me out with scripts. Here the MCCC file where you can see under Full Error stack the scripts.

Can please someone help me out? thank you so much!

Well, that's it then. If it works without mods, then it's a mod problem and not an OS problem.

I realize it's a royal pain to go through them all, especially if you have a lot of them, but it's just something you'll have to tough it through.

Use the 50/50 method. Remove half your mods, create a new world and play for a while and see if it crashes. If it still crashes, then put that half back in and remove the other half and try it again. Keep doing it and narrowing it down until you figure out which mod is crashing.

๐Ÿ˜‰ Once you figure it out, post it somewhere and let everyone know which mod is broken. You'll be a hero.

@bbescapistThat doesn't mean much. It doesn't mean those are broken, it just means those mods weren't SPECIFICALLY designed for the new patch. (Since the patch JUST came out, it will be ANY mod you haven't updated in the last 48 hours)

I have 12 mods on MTS, and all of them but ONE will show up on that list. It doesn't mean they're broken. It doesn't mean anything really.

You might be able to limit your efforts to testing just those... But I wouldn't count on it. It doesn't even show script mods.

@bbescapist I can say that, so far, there's nothing wrong with the Big Sur 11.2.3 update. My game is working fine, and I even left the game on for hours.

However, I play vanilla. Have you tried all the troubleshooting like, deleting all the cache in the game & origin? Then repaired the game?
  • @x4m1r4 Hi! Yes, as I said, I tried to play vanilla, and with mods, I repaired the game multiple times, uninstall the entire game, and install them again numerous times; I clean the cache daily every time... I donโ€™t know whatโ€™s going on. A few days ago, my mods were all good and updated, but still, I could not play. Now since the patch day came out, nothing is working. I downloaded the BE, and I took the mods that didnโ€™t workโ€”but still crashing. I stop playing since I don t like playing vanilla and because it is hitting.

@bbescapist Well, you have broken mods, re-installing the game won't help if you just put the same broken mods right back in. You will continue to have this issue until you figure out which mod is causing the problem.
