Game thinks child is at school
The game still thinks the child is at school, he's not. It has the options to send him home or control his day as if he was there. He is at home, and I can't access his inventory because he's technically not there!

Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- To be sure, the 'child' is an actual child sims and not a teen ?
- Have you tried making him leave early ?
