High Maintenance trait

Does anyone else feel like me, that they went a bit overboard with this trait? I thought it would be fun - but my Sim is constantly angry or very tense, like...I do not feel as that is being high maintenance? I expected something like always wanting specific kind of food/dishes, or having a specific type of clothes that they need, maybe expecting more from their partner in social terms and going out, gifts, etc. and not having an 8 hour angry moodlet because it is hot outside, or very tense because they had a weird dream??? I mean fine, keep some of it, but make it last for an hour or so. It feels as if my Sim's life is just a living torture and he waits for death lol.

  • I just wanted to come back and say that I achieved the “Maintain Harmony” of the “Inner Peace” Spa Pack aspiration. Whew 😅 that took a lot of spa time and cancelling toilet runs so they didn’t initiate a Poseidon’s Kiss moodlet.

  • I was doing some research on how to mitigate the HM trait and didn’t even realize Catharsis came with it. I’ve been playing for four sim weeks and not got that once. Butt hurt, hates the sun, worst day ever, etc etc etc many times and I swear she gets a hangnail any time she cooks but never the good ones haha.

This is one of those traits that move the game from "easy" to "hard" mode, like a few other traits or the lot challenges. I actually am one of the few who like it, I think, lol. I think it's hilarious, but maybe it's because I remember playing Sims 1 and what a chaotic mess that was, hahaha.
